You meet someone. You guys are both shy at first. But you guys talk, get to know each other bit by bit every day. You can say you guys are friends, but there’s something about them that makes you want to be more than that. So you guys enter the whole “I like you more & more every time we talk” stage. You guys talk throughout the day, it became a routine. You guys hang out often, you like being around each other. You guys start getting intimate, you both put your feelings in it. You guys both have feelings for each other, it feels like you guys are together. It feels like nothing can go wrong.. But after awhile, you notice things change, feelings start to fade, you guys argue more, & before you know it, it’s over. But then you realize, you guys never really began in the first place, & you lost someone who was never really yours.
You meet someone unexpectedly. You guys start talking as friends. The conversations are casual. You guys talk more & more & it becomes a habit. Now you’re sending them good morning and good night text messages every day. You guys start talking for longer periods of time. Now the conversations are deep. Someone between all these talks, you got attached to this person. Time goes by. There was less to talk about. There was less affection being shown. There was less feelings being felt. Until eventually, one of you guys no longer feel that attachment. Now, the conversations don’t happen at all. You guys went from strangers, to friends, to lovers with benefits, to strangers with memories.. & that’s the story of our lives.
She hates how her past haunts her, it keeps being brought up, things that already happened are still being talked about & passed around, boys from her past keep coming back & try to ruin her current relationship, she keeps having to think about bad memories, being reminded over & over of her mistakes, constantly regretting dating certain people, trying to be happy but people keep taking away things for her to be happy about, it made her a tougher person, but if you listen closely on between the “I’m fines” & “nothing is wrongs”, she’s crying out for help.
